I think the turning point of the war was when the allies used Enigma to break the vikings runic code.

In defense of that particular story, the machine wasn’t actually called the enigma machine, but the Ultima machine. And it looked very different. Much smaller. And the story was more about vampires and faith than code-breaking. And it didn’t seem so awful technology-wise until I saw Enigma

Hmmm. Methinks the sad who fan dost protest too much. Or something.
