And the next episode was fantastic, and so I was right. Bwa ha ha.

There’s a plastic hand changing direction in mid-air. In places, the show feels like a live-action cartoon… And yet, it was Star Trek who got a cartoon series. Odd.
And yet, to me this makes a strange kind of sense. If something’s already cartoon-like, why bother making the jump? But then again, why bother making the jump at all unless you can do it as well as the Animatrix did?

I reserve the right not to be judged on my footnotes! Actually, Who did in a way come back as a cartoon, very briefly before the new series was announced, in Scream of the Shalka. Which wasn’t very good. I haven’t seen the Trek series but I doubt either is as good as The Animatrix (the only true Matrix sequel).
I will certainly never be clamouring for a Who cartoon. There would, as you say, be no point. Welcome to Grapefruit, Rob, by the way. :)

At work we’ve got new bins that look very much like the auton bin in this story. It took me a while to work out why they were giving me the willies.
