I prefer less infanticide and more Adama doing things right. He takes forever to wake up and the slow Caprica sections make this a tense but slow start to the season.

Caprica is a little slow, especially in this episode. The piano piece was alright I guess but it didn’t deserve five minutes of play. It felt a lot like padding.

Pfft. BSG doesn’t do padding. It is the least padded out television series I’ve ever come across. There is so much going on in any one episode.

It doesn’t normally, and in a way it’s unfair to even mention it. But seriously, Starbuck and Helo are just sitting around not saying anything for at least two minutes. I know that’s not bad by any other show’s standards but having watched season one, it felt odd.
