Surely not, you can make another scene and include “deleted seconds” material because it looked so good and the recyle bin kept them. So it must be good enough to include.
I’m partial to the idea that the produces are bored of the show and more interested in other projects (prequel, etc). Season three started out very nice finally getting off that rock, but now they’re slowing down their dealing with problems. Usually they tackled five issues in a single show. Now we’re lucky if anything happens. The market is hooked. Let’s milk the cows.
I call the motion to cancel Battlestar before it gets worse!

I don’t mind deleted scenes on DVDs, but showing it right after the show, if indeed that’s what they’re doing, seems crazy irritating.

Hear hear! Where have all the B-plots gone?

Ah last night they showed a bonus scene. How irritating! It did fit in sort of, but seemed very silly afterwards.
I call (yet another) motion to prohibit any bonus or super deluxe editions of any kind (except Whoppers).
